Jim’s Home Care has always been about family. Founded by James, or Jim as he was known, the business was inspired by his mum, Elka. When Elka transitioned to a Home Care Package, Jim was disappointed by the lack of quality care and the high fees offered by other providers. He saw firsthand how these fees reduced the care his mum deserved and set out to create a service that treated every client like family.
As we step into a new chapter, Jim’s Home Care will transition to Elka Home Care. This change honours Jim’s legacy and his mum’s name, while marking a renewed commitment to personalised, compassionate, and high-quality care.
Elka Home Care will continue to deliver trusted in-home services across Australia, helping people in their golden years live comfortably and independently. While the name is changing, our dedication to treating every client as part of the family remains at the heart of everything we do.
